For the past 18 years, the Government of Germany has been financing the annual Albert Einstein German Academic Refugee Initiative Fund (DAFI) named after one of the most famous refugees, Prof. Albert Einstein. The programme grants scholarships to deserving young refugees at universities, colleges and polytechnics in their host countries.
