In April 2013, Henkel Ukraine donated over 500 kg of the company's brand products. The donation is set to be distributed by UNHCR and Implementing Partners to the persons of concern in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa and Zakarpattya.

This is the fourth donation of Henkel Ukraine meant to meet the needs of the vulnerable asylum seekers.

Cooperation between Henkel Ukraine and UNHCR was established in 2011. In October 2011, Henkel Ukraine company donated 1,100 kg of washing powder and detergents to UNHCR Regional Representation in Kyiv to be distributed among refugees and asylum-seekers. The donation's total value was up to 10,000 UAH (see press-release).

Since the time of their first donation, Henkel have been regularly donating detergents amounting to the total of 3,000 kg worth over 3,000 USD.
